acts of kindness

YOU MAY THINK YOU ARE POWERLESS TO MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. WELL, THINK AGAIN. WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD ... ONE ACT AT A TIME. A LITTLE KINDNESS IS ALL IT TAKES.

It’s quite possible you have changed someone’s day without even knowing it. Perhaps you gave a welcoming smile when they were feeling left out, delivered a compliment, opened a door, offered up your seat on the bus or were generally helpful and pleasant when it was most needed. You can probably also think of moments when someone changed your day in a similar way. What happened in each of those moments is called an Act of Kindness – a small action that can make a big difference.

Join the kindness movement and share your acts of kindness with emPOWER readers today.

“We must become the change we want to see in the world”
– Mahatma Ghandi
