PRACTICE ‘INTERNAL LISTENING' AND LIVE A MORE CONSCIOUS AND FULFILLING LIFE. SAVLEEN BAJAJ HAS THESE TIPS.

Many people feel perpetually stressed and overwhelmed with life issues, especially time and money. Constantly striving for the next thing, they rarely stop to consider whether it's something they even want or need. They ask themselves; how did I get so busy? How did I become this way? What's my life all about? Am I really doing what I've been born to do? For many, the answer is that after years of losses, mistakes, denial, and fear, they lost track of their ‘true self'. Acting out of psychological fear, they hung on tightly to their dysfunctional way of being. They often struggle to let go.

When you switch-off the divine gift of 'internal listening', hidden issues can suddenly explode into awareness. You may also be shocked into recognition by something that happens when you're not paying attention. In one's effort to succeed and stand out, it's easy to throw life into overdrive, leaving little time to stop, concentrate and listen.

Your life speaks through your actions and reactions, your intuitions and instincts, your feelings and your words. If you learn to listen and read your own responses, you will receive the divine guidance you need. The universal truth of success states that you need to let go of who you are now, your history and your entire emotional baggage in order to become who you want to be.

I recently conducted a learning seminar in Europe on the subject of ‘Receiving Prosperity'. I asked if anyone in the group had ever experienced an inner calling. Some of my participants shared that they occasionally heard their calling but feared what will be demanded of them if they responded to the call. When asked if they would choose ‘an opportunity to wake-up their soul' or ‘attain more money', 99 percent of them selected money as their first choice. Most of them reported that the inner journey which requires stillness and listening was difficult, time-consuming and confusing, whereas money was attainable, tangible and had immediate gratification. These statistics help to awaken us to the fact that as human beings, we need to really consider and contemplate on the ‘human aspects' of life as our first priority. If you also wish for money to flow through your life easily, endlessly and abundantly this truth needs to be embraced and lived.

When you fight the truth of your soul, you create a state of fear, upset and tunnel vision that destroys your ability to listen clearly. It keeps you from finding solutions and it forces you to act in a way that magnifies the obstacles in your life.

Consider the current state of your life: your finances, your work, your relationships, your accomplishments, your level of inner peace and happiness, your life purpose, and your health. Are you in the place you'd hoped or expected to be? Is this the greatest life you could be living? Or is something missing - something you have not yet fully expressed and embraced that could lead you to the great, fulfilling life you desire?

If your answer is ‘No', then know that a better life is calling. Are you ready to answer? These wake-up calls stimulate your intuition, encourage you to ask deeper questions and to seek the answers. This process is a gateway into the deepest layers of your soul. If you've noticed that something is wrong in your life, you don't have to wait until things get out of hand to step in and change your habits. Most often, people would know that they need to change but they just postpone it until so many alarms go off that it becomes almost deafening. You don't have to postpone the inevitable any longer. If you're going to have to make a change sooner or later, you can save yourself a lot of grief by simply taking that first step.

If you feel burdened about some area of your life that needs changing, heeding these wake-up calls may be the best thing you can do for your life. Wake-up calls come in many ways to point us toward action. They may include:

* a dream that reoccurs with a similar theme;
* a symptom in your body that manifests into pain, discomfort or illness;
* a call from someone you need to hear from;
* an emotional issue that keeps reappearing and causing disharmony; or
* a request to be of service to your community through doing volunteer or charity work.

Here are some suggestions that you can take action on immediately to enable you to live a more conscious and fulfilling life.

1. Awakening Questions

* Ask yourself some really important questions to facilitate the awakening of your soul.
* Am I yearning to make changes in my life but find it overwhelming?
* Do I continue to work at a job, live a certain lifestyle or manage a relationship that drains my very soul?
* Am I fearful of doing what I desire most?
* What is my life saying to me?

2. Tune In and Listen

Listen to your inner guidance and you will be told what to do. There is always a particular moment when you clearly know you need to change your life. Listen for what your actions, reactions and inner voice are telling you about your life. See that everything in your life can serve a greater purpose.

3. Assess, Understand and Shift
Assess your true priorities and slow down to a more realistic and healthy schedule. Understand the factors that drive you to busyness, procrastination and time wasting. Develop a self-care plan to break persistent dysfunctional habits. This will help you gain perspective and shift your focus on what matters most in every situation.

4. Slow Down
Slowing down gives the mind permission to stop its incessant chatter, the body permission to stop moving, and the ego permission to yield. You must slow down to hear the ‘calling' as to why you need to change your career, end a relationship, migrate, share, volunteer, donate, etc. So connect to your higher self in order to listen to life and make a life, not just a living.

5. Listen to Your Body
Your own body may be telling you something. For example, lack of sleep, ulcers, tension headaches, etc. are all examples of physiological problems stemming from psychological distress. If you suspect your body is trying to get your attention ask a health professional what might need to change in your life.

6. Reflect Daily
Whether you meditate, journal, pray, practice yoga, or exercise, you still need to take time each day to get quiet and centered and be the observer of yourself so you can reflect on your day and your life. Listen to the still voice within.

Our life circumstances are always speaking to us, calling to us to be bigger, stronger, and more accepting human beings. Isn't it time you started listening to your life?

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
