Do you find yourself wishing that you could create better work life balance for yourself? If so it is time to ask yourself some better questions, as better questions will enable you to find better answers to move towards creating better balance for yourself! These questions have been developed specifically for you to get new thoughts and ideas to enable you to create better work life balance for yourself. Not all questions will be relevant to you so choose the ones that feel most appropriate. However please be careful not to dismiss any questions too quickly as you may miss out on a breakthrough thought that will still help you to move forward. Please record the actions you are going to take as a result of the insights you get from answering the questions. Please note that it is action that will create change NOT simply awareness. So please remember the importance of writing your actions down and ensure that you include some specific timelines too. Wherever possible tell someone about your planned actions as this will create more motivation to follow through and make the changes. It is important that you approach asking yourself better questions with the best mindset possible. To do this ensure that you have the time and space to reflect upon the question if required. Sometimes a spontaneous answer will come to you and that may well be the best answer. On other occasions it may take a while for a better answer to come - sometimes even days or weeks, so please remember to allow whatever time you need. Some people find it beneficial to talk through the question with a partner and in the process of talking out loud they find a better answer. Please note though that this is not about seeking advice from someone else - you need to ask them to allow you the space to develop and find your own answer. Another option to find better answers is to write down or journal your ideas and thoughts. Even if this doesn't feel like your preferred approach to finding a better answer you are encouraged to give this a try as it may be that a different creative approach will work more effectively for you than your usual method. The most important thing is for you to ENJOY having the questions as a resource for you. Don't get stressed and anxious about HAVING to find answers as this is a sure way to block your creative genius. In addition, be willing to experience and explore new thoughts even if they initially sound silly or illogical. By taking away our initial judgments and allowing ourselves to be open to new possibilities it is far easier to find those better answers!
