MOST OF US THINK THAT WE RESPOND TO THE WORLD AROUND US BUT IN ACTUAL FACT THE WORLD RESPONDS TO US! With all the hustle and bustle of daily life we can get caught up in noticing what we don't have rather than what we do have. The wanting of what is missing from our lives is important and very easy. It is important as it causes us to send out a vibrational signal to the Universe that there is something that you desire. With the request received the Universe sets all elements into place for us to receive what we want. So first the desire or the "asking", then the vibrational manifestation by The Universe, but it is up to us to provide the last element for physical manifestation. It's this last element that can trip us up. If we are in the mode of appreciation, gratitude, love, happiness, or any emotion that feels wonderful, then we are providing that last necessary element. It's this state of being that we need to strive for even when the circumstances around us aren't conducive to that type of feeling. Looking for things to appreciate changes our vibration so we are a match to what we want. It's really quite simple. We have to be happy for more happiness to be drawn to us. I have been practicing this way of life for a while now and can attest to the fact that this is a wonderful way to live. No matter what is happening in our lives we can always increase our happiness level. Once you get the hang of shifting your focus on things, life becomes more! More fun, more successful, more joyous, more exciting, more peaceful and just down right brilliant. Sure I still slip and get sick or a bit sad, but I can now see how all that was in response to my feeling lackful in some way. I may have been feeling guilty or annoyed or fearful and my world will reflect my thoughts. Once I notice what I have been doing it becomes easier and easier to change my old patterns and jump back into happiness. It thrills me to watch the power of approaching life in this way. To move from disempowered, sad, scared, miserable, upset or worried into hopeful, excited, joyous and happy can be a few short moments when you get the hang of how to shift your focus. So is all this just a way to feel happy and cope with the ups and downs of life's problems in a Polly Anna fashion? Well I guess it is. The result is much more though. Things that you have been wanting actually show up in your life. In my case, my relationships improved, my health improved, my work changed into a career I love I went on a trip of a life time and now my finances are on the up. But the best of all, I am having such a great tine along the way. The better it gets the better it gets. Yes I am sold on the idea that we can change our reality with just the focus of our thinking. Ok so this new approach takes practice. It is such a paradigm shift to think that we actually have the ability to make such huge changes in our lives with just a change of thought. We have been so action orientated. We still have to take action but it is inspired action as opposed to action motivated by fear. Following your feelings, you "gut" if you will rather than mentally thrashing it over and over and worrying about things. It's understanding what our "gut feelings" are actually trying to tell us that is important. It's letting go of worry and believing that you will find the answer to your difficulties, that you will find joy and happiness. It's allowing the flow of life to draw you in the direction of what you want. Start today. Yes right now while you are reading this. Start by thinking of 5 things that make you feel good. Often it's not until we actually take a few moments to stop and look at our lives do we see what is actually working. I was inspired to write today as I realized I am actually living most of my dream life. Your life is now. So see what makes you happy now. Look for happiness now. Is it that you are out of the rain and in a warm space? Is it that you are getting on better with your family? Is it that you enjoyed your breakfast today? Is it that you love to pat your pet? Is it that you child did something funny? What is it that you have around you that makes you smile? That's the key to it all. Focus on what is working in your life and watch it grow. Just like a plant that needs water and food to grow, your life needs attention to weeds of doubt and sadness. It needs fertilizing with love and appreciation. Focus on what is actually working in your life and watch more and more wonderful things sprout and blossom.
